İnceboğaz Beach: One of Kaş's Hidden Coves

04 Mayıs 2026 Adasya Gezi Rehberi 1 min read

Hidden between cliffs near Kaş, İnceboğaz awaits discovery with clear waters and natural beauty, far from the crowds.

One of the lesser-known but highly impressive coves near Kaş, İnceboğaz Beach is nestled between sheer cliffs a few kilometres from town. The name 'ince boğaz' (narrow strait) refers to the characteristic narrowing of the cove; the constriction created by the cliffs produces a distinctive blue luminosity within the cove.

**Why Visit?**
İnceboğaz is a perfect alternative for those seeking an escape from the busier Kaş beaches. With its deep, clear water, natural rocky ledges ideal for diving and snorkelling, this cove remains the 'secret' of those who know the area.

**How to Get There**
Accessible by boat from central Kaş or the Çukurbağ Peninsula, or on foot via a rocky trail path. Choose footwear carefully — non-slip soles are essential on the rocky ground.

**Practical Info**
- Quietest period: early June and September
- Very limited facilities; bring your own food and drink
- Snorkelling equipment strongly recommended
