A little further from Kaş, Akçagerme instantly captivates visitors with its turquoise seen from a distance.
About 15–20 km from Kaş, reached via the Kaş–Kalkan road, Akçagerme Beach is one of the rare Mediterranean coves that has largely succeeded in preserving its unspoilt nature. The water clarity in this cove, where pebbles and rocks intertwine, reaches remarkable levels.
**The Beach**
Akçagerme forms a relatively shallow cove hidden in the shade of surrounding cliffs and olive groves — ideal swimming depth especially for children. Its sheltered position means calm seas throughout summer. Small rocky areas below the surface harbour a rich underwater world for snorkelling enthusiasts.
